Business DescriptionMain Street Physical Therapy is an outpatient clinic with 2 locations in Yuma and Somerton. Our location in Yuma has been open since November of 2002, and Somerton was just opened in November of 2007. We provide therapy for neck and back pain, work related injuries, post surgical rehab, sports injuries, balance disorders, neuro rehab and much more.

Mark Plante, P.T.
Mark is the owner of Main Street Physical Therapy, which opened in November of 2002 and has been working in Yuma for 14 years. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s in Biology, and then continued to Northern Arizona University to receive his Master’s in Physical Therapy. He has worked in a variety of settings, including home health, the hospital, and nursing homes, however, his passion is orthopedics. He is also a CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist.) He maintains the philosophy that all patients should receive the highest quality of care regardless or payer source, language or location. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and tinkering with his Halloween prop building.

Janice Andersen, P.T.
Janice joined the Main Street team in October of 2005 after moving to Yuma from Maryland. She graduated with a B.S. in physical therapy, Magna Cum Laude from the University of St. Louis in May of 1982. She has worked in a variety of settings, including an outpatient clinic that shared space with Dr. Michael McClinton from the Curtis Hand Center/International in Baltimore. She has been published in Medical Problems of Performing Artists in 1990, “Orthotic for Flutist’s Digital Nerve Compression” and presented on this topic at the seminar: Medical Problems of Musicians and Dancers to physicians and therapists. She designs custom static splints. When Janice is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and researching physical therapy.
